- 1997-Decision made to establish University naming after Great leader Mawlana Muhmman Abdul Hamid Khan Bhasani.
- 1998, 12 0ctober-The Ex-Priminister Shek Hasina opened the foundation stone of the University.
- 21 November, 2002- First VC Dr. Yousuf Shorif Ahmed Khan,a Sea Scientist, Jioned the University.
- 8 August, 2003- The first admission test held in varsity campus.
- 25 october, 2003- Academic activities started successfully.
- First proctor- Mr. Md. Motiur Rahman.
- First sub-proctor- Mr. Md. Abu Yousuf.First Provost of dormetory- Mr. Md. Amir Shorif.
- First Provost of "ALEMA KHATUN BHASANI" dormetory- Sabina Yasmin.
- The name of the pond infront of the University campus is "PIR SAHJAMAN"
- 20 December, 2003- Canteen started.

- 14 April, 2006- "PAHELA BOISHAK" Celebrated first in varsity.
- 14 April, 2006- First computer fair held.
